Ring Flanges is the ring and ring type joint desk of Texas Flange & Fittings Inc., a Houston flange supplier that has been machining industrial pipe flanges since 1986.
Texas Flange supplies ASME and non-code industrial pipe flanges for the petrochemical, process and waterworks industries, in sizes from 1/2 inch through 203 inches and across pressure classes from 75 up through API 20K. Carbon steel, stainless, chrome alloy, duplex and specialty grades, with material test reports available on all of them.
The word ring covers several very different products on a flange requisition, and they arrive on the same site because they arrive on the same purchase orders. A flat ring flange with no hub. A ring type joint face with a machined groove. A ring spacer or ring blind for positive isolation. A loose backing ring behind a lap joint stub end. We make all of them.
Plate and ring work is a particular strength. We cut flat rings from plate from 1/4 inch through 8 inch thick, including the AWWA C-207 patterns and all manner of special designs, and we have the capacity to machine ring grooves and large diameter rings well past where the standard tables stop.

AWWA C207 ring flanges
Class B, D, E and F waterworks flanges, ring and hub styles, for the sizes the standard covers and past them.
Ring type joint faces
R, RX and BX grooves per ASME B16.20, on B16.5, B16.47 and API 6A and 6BX patterns.
Ring spacers and blinds
Spectacle blinds, paddle blinds, paddle spacers and line blinds for positive isolation.
Lap joint backing rings
Loose rings behind stub ends, including cheaper backing ring material with an alloy stub.
Plate and flat ring flanges
Cut from plate 1/4 inch through 8 inch thick, in carbon, stainless and alloy.
Large diameter rings
Past the standard tables the job is a print. We machine to it, through 203 inches.
